In their statement, the members of NewJeans revealed troubling claims of harassment directed not only at them but also at their support staff. The group stated that they have continued to fulfill their remaining commitments with ADOR despite terminating their contract. However, they noted that the managers and producers assisting them were subjected to mistreatment.
“We have been carrying out our schedules as promised,” NewJeans wrote, “but we witnessed harassment of our staff, including having their laptops confiscated by ADOR and HYBE.”
The group expressed frustration over what they described as “inhumane” behavior, emphasizing the emotional toll such incidents have taken.

According to the staff member, ADOR and HYBE subjected employees to distressing treatment, including unnecessary and frequent meetings, confiscating personal belongings, and demanding access to personal phones.
The staff member alleged, “They even forced staff to stay in the office for over three hours, not allowing them to leave.” Such actions reportedly targeted managers, producers, and the performance director working on NewJeans’ projects.
